How about a hundred days of gratitude?

by Matthew on 05-18-2009 at 06:13 PM
I often wonder if I have the commitment and drive for something like this. I mean one hundred days... that's every single day for over 3 months. It isn't that I am not grateful everyday for something but I'm sure one day I would forget to write it down and post it on the blog. So here are the rules in case you want to join in with me for the hundred days.

  1. Poster has to actually have to be grateful for what they are posting, legitimate gratitude or at least getting to the place of

First week of classes

by Matthew on 01-17-2009 at 07:21 PM
Well the first week of classes at UNO are over and I'm settling into the university life very well. I keep forgetting that not only am I living completely new, everything is new; new apartment, new to classes, new city, new state. I'm letting myself sleep more and trying to take everything one step at a time.

I'm very much looking forward to Ft. Lauderdale seminar on Jan 31 and Feb 1 2009. I think the group of people signed up for that seminar are going to rock the workshop. So far

The Golden Moment of the Gods

by Matthew on 11-24-2008 at 04:23 PM
The other day in the bitter cold here on the street, I watched a man in the street holding a camera at a funny angle pointed to the sky. His stance, shoulder, extended arm and mis aligned hand held a large digital camera, totally focused on the camera trying to get a shot... so I looked and saw what we call here the golden moment. It is something that the sun does here at the tip of the cape where everything becomes pink and gold and the light is stricking and Godly.

Not sure what to post today

by Matthew on 11-20-2008 at 03:38 PM
Well I updated the Avatar section and am hoping that people will use the avatars if they don't want to upload a picture of themselves. It adds a sense of identity to the site.

I am also thinking about having a contest and the winners will win a seance conference call? Sort of a group meditation geared towards spirit communication and psychic development. If anyone has any ideas post it in the general forum some where. Or private message me here on the site.

Thanks

Fleeting morning thoughts

by Matthew on 11-19-2008 at 12:41 PM
I woke this morning with profound thoughts of meditation. Where most of what goes through our mind is distraction. It is these thoughts that we share.

The silence of peace and feelings of complete acceptance for "the all that is". We tend to keep to ourselves.

What if we kept the distractions and shared the peace?
